"Formula E is a big step for electric vehicles in Indonesia as this is the first time it has been held here. With the start of the Formula E tournament, we are even more confident about the launch of our first electric vehicle, the All-New Mercedes EQS," he continued.

One of the drivers for the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team, Stoffel Vandoorne, who will be competing in Formula E Jakarta, expressed his readiness to fight in the Indonesian capital.
